After numerous attempts and time consumed on mapping the stupid forest, I finally made it.

The jump quest was very, very easy... I did it in the first try...

That's awesome. Can't wait to go myself. But I have to attend ancestral rites for my grandparents so I'll attempt it later.
Oh, and I lost like 40% cause of the lag combined with the Bigfoot and the Elder Wraiths. It was totally worth it though.

Show 'em who's boss, Loose. Find any good drops? I heard there were craploads and that's what the maintenance was for. Like the Guardians on those map drop about 2 Holy Shield 30s a minute.

Hmm, I hope that level 90 sword is rare as hell, or they just gave to reg dex warriors with one hand, and gave more to dexless with the other sleep.gif

Especially seeing as it will devalue both the DS in meso terms and the Stonetooth in terms of what the point of it was, that's just annoying >_>

I only was able to kill one and then I had to take off for school (currently there).

I noticed that one of them was able to use Lock-Down (can't use skills) on me. I was hit by them, but I saw that Magician get hit for around 2.2k touch damage. It's eyes also start to glow purple when it's angry.

Seriously, I was ranting to Scott about that last night of how those new weapons make a lot of the current ones absolutely worthless. I'm hoping they're near stupidly rare to forge, because I heard they aren't even iTCG.

And seriously, Bigfoot is broken. Took Scott and I ~15 mins to kill this one. We started another one, two minutes in, some 12x F/P uses Mist and Fire Demon on it, its down in under a minute. We only got ~300k exp from it, meaning that mage got the kill...

I'm getting an odd message that maple is offline or i'm having network problems >_>;;

EDIT: apparently the new sword requires 95 dex, which while easy to achieve (even I have +60 freom equips, and none of my dex gear would be considered 'godly, I think) is still not as bad as previously thought. It certainly makes the high elvel 2h sword market interesting >_>

Bigfoot is susceptible to status effects, thus you can poison and burn it. Therefore, Fire Poison Arch Mages will destroy it with a combination of Myst, and Fire Demon, dealing upwards of 800k per second.

Also, seeing as how it's immune to Ice, if an I/L Archmage tries to Ice Demon it for the same effect, it starts to Heal the opposite amount.

Weren't the status effects fixed in the server check? I was lead to believe that was a mistake, due to it being classed as a miniboss instead of the real thing o.o

I have no idea whether it was fixed or not, but it was classified as a regular mob monster, much like a Snail or Green Mushroom. You could Stun, Poison, Burn, Chill, and I'd also assume Seal it. Quite possibly even Doom it.

Ah, I got to the castle.... this patch is terrible.

Even IF you get past the jq with the totems that hit 50k, and the TWO maps that knock you back down to the totem maps if you fall off, you come to an area where.... *drumroll*

The monsters are IMMUNE to holy, STRONG against ice, fire, and lightning, and they SEAL.

Yes, it's fun all the way biggrin.gif
