Unfortunately, there are some people who will happily stoop low enough to take someone's work and call it their own.

Let me be prefectly clear on what constitutes ripping.
1) Taking a piece of artwork and claiming it as your own.
2) Taking a piece of artwork, changing the name on it, and claiming it as your own.
3) Taking a piece of artwork, altering it slightly, and claiming it as your own.
4) Taking a piece of artwork, altering it heavily, and claiming it as your own.

To summarise, USING OTHER PEOPLE'S ARTWORK IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

What is allowed, is using another's art as a reference, or using stock photos/renders in your piece.
In the above situations, credit ought to be given, but whilst it is something we wish everyone would do without prompting, omitting it will not incur a warning.

Whereas, of course, ripping will. A 20% warn will be given for each piece, and should the perpetrator be a member of the graphics team, they will be demoted.
