Just a quick question - namely, is stuff like making banners, artistic contests, etc, the ONLY way to make clan points?

I'm asking because i'm not a very artistic person, scertainly not in the sense of creating stuff like that. I'm just wondering if it's worth signing up in this case tongue.gif

In addition to what Yegg said, if you make Maple-related guides, you earn CP. If you refer people you also earn CP. 10 CP for a personal referral, and 20 CP for a public advertisement.

Don't we have a "how to make CP" guide?
(could be misinterpreted on a Google search xD)

Edit: Yup, there it is, in the first post of this very thread xP

Still...If we had a general gaming section, we could have a guide library for other games there too, which would mean more CP for all.

That's a nice idea, but other games aren't talked about that much except for the occasional minigame like Syobon Action (or however it's spelled). But I suppose you guys could get into nice, in-depth discussions about Diablo, Wow, etc. if given the chance.

The question is, what kind of games should we put there? Just say, "All other game discussions go here", or maybe make subforums for different popular games?

This website does more than obviate the need for a game guide section.
I think changing the focus of the forum to any game in general would destroy all focus MT ever could have. The forum would be more than divided; it would become diluted. There is far too much to say about all the video games in existence.

You might want to see a Halo fansite about that wink.gif Or read some of the books.

Or you could just create a topic about it in the General section and see what happens.
