Well, I've always preferred dogs over cats (cats seem to get a more allergic reaction from me), but after playing a certain game, DOGS FUCKING HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG. Pic related.

Which do you prefer, if any?

Anyway.

I have always been a cat person (obviously) but have recently realized dogs are more...loyal and affectionate. Granted right now I want to strannnggglllleeee mine but he's still a puppy and learning! Almost housetrained and once the biting is solved....whooo!

This dog wakes me up more during the night than Aidan ever did! Haha. Oh well, he's too lovable <3

So for now...I'll take a dog over a cat as an indoor house pet anyday (toy dog of course, not a large chowchow or anything yet! That will be later).

I chose both though since I DO love cats in their own right. =)

I'd have to agree with the previous posts. I got a beagle-mix puppy 3 or 4 weeks back (she's a stray so we're not sure how old she is... 9-10 months by best guess) and she's the coolest thing ever. I come home from work and she meets me at the door. I close the door to use the restroom and return 4 minutes later and she's all "you came back!!!!" and tail wagging. Sure, she has had some problems differentiating between the backyard and the carpet on a couple occasions but I'm inclined to look past that. I've also noticed the dog having an effect on the cat's actions too. Before the dog, the cat would simply ignore me unless I was giving him food or something. Since the dog came along, the cat jumps into my lap and demands attention (I guess he sees me spend so much time playing with the dog when I come home from work that he feels he needs to remind me of his presence). Anyways, both are cool but dogs are just so much fun.

I love cats and dogs equally. I mean i havent had a dog in a year since my old one passed away, but i love them, their loyal, fun loving, and just a good friend to have. I love my cats though, cause one of them is the sweetest thing ever he always swits on my lap when im on the computer, he sleeps with me at night, and the thing about him is, my family calls him the evil cat, im the only one in the family he likes. He will bite my sisters then i walk up to pet him and he licks my hand

Dogs put up less of a fight when you cook them. Or so that's what I heard from a relative of mine.
Not surprising why my aunt hasn't gone to see him in years; she has two chihuahuas.
