I'm playing this on a rom so I won't be able to trade to get a Scizor. I just evolve the Togekiss and it will learn Aura Sphere and Air slash? Though first I will have to find a Shiny Stone in the first place. I really hope that's what it's called in Japanese. I don't feel like patching any English onto this, and I doubt I'll be doing much of any EV training, just a standard game completion. If I run into trouble getting through things or have spare time, I'll raise some pokes properly though.

It won't learn Air Slash and Aura Sphere on its own, since it comes standard at level 1. Only way is to hack it or go to the Move Tutors, like the ones in Advance Gen or D/P/Pt who exchanged for a Heart Scale.

If I had a DS, I'd put this on a damn flash cart and play it in class, but alas.
FFFFFFFF- I just tried my hand at Tsukushi with a level 17 Pidgey and Totodile. Got my ass handed to me because her Scyther has U-turn. WTF.

I missed the events for Jirachi and Mew. The launch even Arceus would've cost me another £15 - £20 to get >_>

I believe it would. It doesn't matter who the original trainer is, just that it's from an event.
