Congrats to Canada though. But everywhere I look on other forums, it's Canadians trashing Americans more than celebrating their win. Disgraceful but what can you do. Pretty sure Americans would behave the same manner if they won.

I heard it was a good game though. Haven't kept updated with the Games aside from my mom calling me to rage about Ohno.

I don't care for hockey. But I think Canada did quite great. My dad said it was a terrific game.

Canada never had a good record in OT during the Olympics. Crosby is our guy, though.

Fact: Canada now holds the record for most gold medals earned during a single winter olympics.

Yeah, I've realized that, Alex. It sure makes us overjoyed to see our arrogant brother down south finally triumphed over in something though xD

'sides, most Americans I've heard from lately say they're apathetic towards the win in a very grouchy tone.

Well, as an American, I've always that there are some sports that other countries specialize in highly and will give the U.S. stiff competition.
Canada, Russia and other European countries in hockey, Korea in speed skating (oh god, my mom kept calling me to rage about Ohno while I was studying); etc.

As unlikely as it is, I wish people would learn to have some class when they win and take a loss gracefully.

Real games start in '12 though. Winter and Summer Olypmics. biggrin.gif

Well, I didn't watch it, but I did watch part of the closing ceremony, and the announcer guys were obsessing over it. :3

I still think that the US team is awesome too. I mean, second place, right? That's pretty good. That's what I got for two of my events in Science Olympiad Invitationals this year. tongue.gif

Tonight might be interesting for the Canucks. Both US' Kesler and Canada's Luongo back in the lineup? We'll see what happens.
